‘Come follow Christ in the footsteps of St Paul’

St. Paul’s is a traditional Anglican Church. We are committed to spreading and living The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and promoting the Church’s mission in Port Adelaide – building up the Christian faith and providing support for those in need.

We come together to worship our One True God: Great Father Spirit Son, to share in one another’s friendship and to learn about our faith. Come, let us worship God, who holds everything together, and knows each of our needs and concerns, joys and heartaches, as He enfolds us in his love. We welcome anybody who comes here to offer their thanks and praise to God.  As The Church and as a congregation we also welcome anybody who is looking to find, or to grow, their faith in God. And, in showing our love for God and for one another, we try to support the hungry and thirsty, the stranger and the foreigner, the sick and the mentally ill, those just out of prison and those socially marginalised – who are standing on the outside, looking in.

On Sunday mornings we love our Sung Eucharist, as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper of bread and wine and praise God in song, as accompanied by our W.C. Mack (1865) pipe-organ. After Holy Communion, we share in a fine Morning Tea. On Sunday evenings we get together for a very simple Holy Communion and a time of reflecting on the day’s Bible readings. We then have a free meal together. We are a multicultural mix of people, from all walks of life, who may be found any day in and about Port Adelaide. We are committed to loving, befriending and nurturing all who come to our Table: the hard-up, the wealthy, those living on the edge, and those well-esteemed.
